SURABAYAPAGI.com - Dewa 19 band will hold a reunion concert in Malaysia. The reunion concert is planned to be held on February 2 at the Shah Alam stadium.
Why Malaysia? Former Dewa 19 vocalist, Elfonda Mekel, once explained that organizing a reunion concert in Malaysia came at the request of a local promoter.
"Its got an invitation from there. The promoter from there and indeed fans in Malaysia are many. The interest in Dewa songs is very good, including other Indonesian songs. So my guess is the animation will be very good," Once said.
The reunion concert will involve all Dewa 19 personnel, including Ari Lasso, who is the first vocalist. Although it was not long to bring Dewa 19 songs, Once admitted that this was not a problem.
"Its fine. There have been a number of songs that have always been sung. So you have to hapalin the song lyrics. For the classic Dewa songs we dont have trouble playing," he said. rk
