Previously, circulating a vulgar photo of a woman suspected of being Vanessa Angel was in the bathroom of a hotel without wearing clothes. Zakir confirmed that the woman in the photo was his client.
"Our client said that the photo is really him and in the near future it will be reported," Zakir said at a press conference held in the Kalibata area, Jakarta, Monday (7/1).
Zakir said the photo was not related to the arrest of his client in the case of an alleged online prostitution that occurred in Surabaya on Saturday (5/1). According to his client, the photo was taken at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, about a year ago.
Zakir said his client had pocketed a name allegedly as a person who took photos of him secretly at the hotel. Zakir said the perpetrators were from the artist community.
"The spreader is a public figure too," Zakir said, adding that the perpetrators could be charged with article 27 paragraph 1 of the ITE law. rk
