“Aquaman” Film Best Selling DC Extended Universe

SURABAYAPAGI.com - Aquaman’s film was in a position that was not good because it got scorn before airing. However, this film managed to show its appeal until now it managed to become the best-selling DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film at the global box office. Aquaman has just passed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice income in ticket sales worldwide. On Saturday (5/1), Warner Bros. released 887 million dollars since the film was released last month. That income can set aside Batman v Superman’s global income reaching 873 million US dollars. The King of Atlantis has been greatly helped by the extraordinary attractiveness of international income. With international sales reaching up to 75 percent of film revenues. China also became the country that contributed to this huge income, earning 279 million US dollars. That number is a much greater percentage than other DCEU titles. In fact, becoming a DCEU film is more popular than The Dark Knight abroad. This work of James Wan has surpassed the Justice League which earned 657 million US dollars during the first week of the US release. Then the project also surpassed Man of Steel with revenues of 668 million US dollars and Suicide Squad which earned 746 million US dollars.
