Volunteers in Taiwan Make Sure Jokowi-Ma’ruf Wins 100 Percent

SURABAYAPAGI.com, Jakarta - Supporting partner Joko Widodo / Ma’ruf Amin volunteers in Taiwan are targeting 100 percent votes for this pair in the 2019 Presidential Election. In the 2014 Presidential Election, Jokowi who paired with Jusuf Kalla won a vote of 97 percent in Taiwan. The target was announced in the Grand Declaration of support of Indonesian Volunteers and Citizens (WNI) in Taiwan for the Joko Widodo / K.H partner. Ma’ruf at the Taipei Main Station, Taiwan, was quoted as saying in a press release received in Jakarta on Sunday (14/1). According to Deputy Director of Political Communication of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Joko Widodo / Ma’ruf Amin, Meutya Hafid, the 100 percent target is not impossible to realize. Because, in the 2014 Presidential Election, the pair received a 97 percent vote in Taiwan. Meutya Hafid who was present at the Grand Declaration in Taipei, Taiwan, said that he had a dialogue with volunteers and Indonesian citizens. They said they were ready to win the pair Joko Widodo / Ma’ruf Amin 100 percent. The Director of Political Communication of Jokowi / Ma’ruf TKN, Usman Kansung, and Jokowi Ma’ruf TKN Spokesperson, Lena Maryana Mukti, also attended the Grand Declaration in Taipei, Taiwan. Usman Kansong and Lena Maryana reminded Indonesian citizens in Taiwan who had the right to vote at the polling station (TPS) on election day in Taiwan, April 14 2019. In Taiwan, voting is scheduled for April 14 2019 with consideration on that date Sunday and holiday workers. The declaration which was enlivened with performances of traditional Indonesian dances was attended by hundreds of volunteers, almost all of whom were Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan. Apart from Taipei, they came from a number of cities in Taiwan, among others, from Taichung and Kaohsiung. The Chairperson of the Kaswan Declaration Committee said that this declaration was held thanks to both moral and material contributions from volunteers who all had the determination to win the Jokowi / Ma’ruf Amin pair. rk
